The Gospel Jam, a long standing local tradition, is a gathering of musicians, singers, and listeners which meets on the 2nd Friday night of each month at 7:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. String instrument players (guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, Dobro, bass, autoharp, etc) and singers have been gathering monthly to play Hymns and Gospel Tunes, to stand around the piano and sing, and to enjoy food & fellowship. Typically there are about 25 musicians from many churches, and we pass the microphone around for each to have a chance to choose the tune and be heard the best while all the instrumentalist play along on each tune.
You are invited to participate by playing, singing, clapping your hands, patting your feet, or simply listening. The Gospel Jam is an informal, relaxed evening of music and fellowship. Come give it a try and help us make a joyful noise to the Lord.
